Marblehead Beacon Partners with Marblehead Festival of Arts

On Independence Day, as we all come together to celebrate our country’s freedom, Marblehead Beacon is proud to partner with the Marblehead Festival of Arts to honor our community and all of the values we share.

Marblehead Beacon was founded by citizen journalists committed to offering a free, accessible online platform based on the principles of non-partisanship, accuracy, and transparency with a focus on ethical, high-quality news coverage.

Over the past year, we have published hundreds of stories which include human interest profiles, election coverage, and investigative reports on timely topics that impact day-to-day life in our community.

We remain committed to our launch statement, which stressed our goal of gaining the trust and support of local residents by providing interesting, well-researched stories that take into account multiple political perspectives and focus on improving community engagement with local government.

To support our investigative reporting and team of citizen journalists, please subscribe to our free newsletter below to receive Marblehead Beacon articles in your inbox. If you agree that Marblehead Beacon’s efforts shed light on the operations of our town government and encourage more transparency and open communication, we respectfully ask that you consider contributing to our efforts by making a one-time or monthly contribution.
