Jenny Armini has the Experience to be Ready Day One to Get Things Done

I proudly support Jenny Armini in the race for State Representative. Jenny’s grassroots community leadership here in the 8th district and her legislation and public policy experience makes her ready to lead positive change for our community on day one. Her experience is real, her bold ideas are informed and her ability to get things accomplished is proven. For me this election feels so personal as women’s rights are literally being stripped away everyday throughout our country. It has only been 2 months since Roe v Wade was overturned. Yet this week we saw even more states enact restrictive trigger laws, supported by their state representatives, to outlaw abortion with few, if any, exceptions. Unbelievably 1 in 3 women in this country now have no access to abortion. We cannot be complacent here in Massachusetts, we need to be proactive. We need a State Rep who will not just pledge to support women’s rights, but one makes it a top priority to LEAD the FIGHT to protect our reproductive rights on Beacon Hill and secure Massachusetts as a safe harbor for others. Witnessing Jenny’s leadership, dedication and determination while working with ElectBlue, I know we can TRUST Jenny to fiercely lead the way to protect our reproductive rights.

Jenny’s thoughtful policy plan to ensure that Massachusetts remains a safe harbor for others while protecting our in-state providers and privacy includes:
•       Legislation to strengthen our state’s privacy laws to protect women and healthcare providers;
•       Funding to increase access, infrastructure and security; and
•       Supporting legislation that reduces existing barriers to prenatal and abortion care.

Jenny is the only candidate with a proven track record in the fight for reproductive rights throughout her career as a congressional aide on Capitol Hill, as an intern at Planned Parenthood and later as activist and organizer in our own community. Without the protection of Roe v Wade, Jenny, like so many of us, is angry yet determined to champion the right to safe and affordable reproductive health, for us, our daughters, and our granddaughters. My vote is for Jenny Armini, sending her to continue this fight on Beacon Hill is the best thing I can do to protect the rights of my family.
